Hi teachers! Are you looking for a fun way to have your 3rd grade students practice their sight words? Look no further!
I’ve had a ton of requests for some more of my sight word sentences, so today I’m sharing the 3rd grade sight word sentence printables with you.
Each worksheet has the sight word along with a funny sentence. Students will practice tracing the word, reading the word several times, then writing it on their own. They will also fill in a sentence using the word as well as practice reading the sentence.
Students will also cut out the letters then glue them on the sheet to spell the word correctly to complete a sentence. I have also added individual letter tracing to this activity to help with cursive handwriting practice.
Finally they will make up their own sentence using their newly learned sight word! The repetition along with the variety of activities really helps students remember their sight words.
This download includes 41 3rd grade level sight words from the Dolch sight word list.

Erica,
Thank you so much for all the wonderful resources you have been so kind to share! I have been using a lof of them homeschooling my 1st grader since the beginning of this year! Her sight words particular improved tremendously after using your sight words sentences sets. She’s finishing up the grade 2 ones and I’d love to see if you can have any spare time (if you have any! hehe) making up the print version for grade 3!
Thank you so much!!
I just found you have come up with the print version! Thank you so much!!
I teach kinder/1st graders with Autism, and I really appreciate this free resource!
Thank you so much for creating, and sharing these worksheets 🙂
THank you so much for these worksheets. God continue to bless you in all your endeavors
I wanted to know if you can convert the 3rd grade sight words into different font instead of cursive. My kids can not read it. Thank you and God bless.
